What's New in Queue-it March 2026

Discover the latest improvements to ensure you’re making the most of Queue-it. This quarter brings AI-powered Custom Theme design, improved visibility for Traffic Access Rules, new Queue-it Connectors, and a new session cookie for better session handling and bot mitigation.

Speed up waiting room design with new AI Custom Theme Generator

The new AI Custom Theme Generator lets you create on-brand Custom Themes in seconds using just a logo, inspiration image, and short instructional prompt. There’s no code, no waiting, and no barriers to experimentation.

The AI Custom Theme Generator gives teams a faster, more flexible path from idea to production-ready themes, enabling:

  • Faster theme development & iteration: Create several iterations to quickly narrow in on the right direction, then use your AI-generated theme as a starting point for less dev work, fewer iterations, and a smoother path to a polished output.

  • Open participation for more teams: The no-code, self-service functionality allows marketing, design, and CX teams to create themes themselves—without relying on a developer to get started.

  • Publish time-sensitive simple themes instantly: For straightforward needs or urgent timelines, non-technical users get the ability and agility to publish simple AI-generated themes directly.

The AI Custom Theme Generator is live for all Queue-it customers with the Custom Theme feature. See the process in the video below, or check out the product update blog for more info.

Improve Traffic Access Rules visibility & effectiveness with Traffic Insights data

We’ve now connected Traffic Access Rules with Traffic Insights to help you understand the effectiveness of your rules and how to optimize them for enhanced bot protection.

This update enables you to easily assess the value your Traffic Access Rules, with clear views showing the number of visitors matching each rule that were Hard Blocked, Challenged, or Bypassed.

Matching data for your rules now auto-populates directly into Traffic Access Rules, and you can access detailed reports in Traffic Insights directly from the rule by selecting “Open in Traffic Insights”.

This data is also available in your Traffic Insights dashboards—simply click “Show more” under “Filter by”, and you’ll see the display for “Traffic Access Rules”.

In other updates to Traffic Access Rules, we’ve added a “Description” field for rules, where you can explain the purpose of each rule and when it should be applied. This is designed to improve clarity and collaboration for large teams using the GO Queue-it Platform.

New & updated Connectors: iOS, PHP & HarmonyOS

Our team has been hard at work updating and deploying new Queue-it Connectors to ensure secure and reliable performance and integration with your systems. These include:

  • New iOS SwiftUI Native App Connector: A new iOS Connector built for SwiftUI, Apple’s most modern and recommended UI framework.

  • New Huawei HarmonyOS Native App Connector: A new HarmonyOS Connector for Huawei devices, strengthening Queue-it's support and flexibility for customers across the Asia-Pacific region.

  • Updated PHP Connector Version 4.4: An updated PHP Connector, enabling stronger protection against unwanted traffic through Enqueue Token and the normalization of URL requests, improved management of complex visitor journeys via Double Queue Exemption, and a new type of http header that makes it easier to control access for specific IP addresses (e.g. IP bypass for internal staff).

For more details on these new and updated Connectors, visit our Connectors page. For support with updating or getting access to a new Connector, contact your Customer Success Manager or support@queue-it.com.

New cookie improves reliability & accuracy of session handling

We’ve introduced a new session cookie, Queue-it-visitorsession, which enables several key improvements to session handling and bot mitigation:

  • Better session identification: This cookie helps us accurately detect when multiple Queue IDs belong to the same visitor.

  • Improved visibility: This cookie provides better insight into visitor activity during non-queuing scenarios—such as SafetyNet—when visitors are not in line and have not been assigned a Queue ID.

  • Enhanced feature support: This cookie is initially used to enhance Anomaly Detection (Bots & Abuse) and may support upcoming capabilities in Traffic Insights.

The new session cookie will now be added when a visitor first accesses the waiting room. This cookie is essential, does not require visitor consent, and is automatically removed when the visitor’s browser session ends.

Please refer to our cookie policy for additional information.

Stay tuned

Every quarter, our R&D department pushes Queue-it to do more for your team—more control over traffic, a better experience for you and your customers, and more peace of mind on those high-impact days.

Next up the team is working on:

  • Capturing more marketing value from your waiting room
  • Adding more flexibility & control to your bot mitigation options
  • Enhancing Queue-it’s integration with your CDN
