Queue-it, the market leader in virtual waiting room software and services, announced the opening of a new office in Seoul, South Korea.

This strategic move comes in response to the company's robust growth in the Asia-Pacific region supporting organizations to provide reliable, fair, and transparent digital experiences during peak demand.

The South Korea office is Queue-it’s first in Asia, the second in APAC region and its fourth globally, joining existing offices in Denmark, the United States, and Australia.

The company inaugurated the new Seoul office at a reception event in the Gangnam district on April 26th where leading Korean companies, its technology partner Akamai Technologies Korea, the Danish Ambassador to South Korea, and the Trade Council of Denmark in South Korea joined to celebrate.

The event was the culmination event of a week-long tour to the region where Queue-it CEO Jesper Essendrop joined and spoke at several events as a part of delegation program organized around the visit to Tokyo and Seoul by the Danish Minister of Digitalization and Equality, Marie Bjerre.

The Seoul office will be led by Aaron Kim, former business executive at IBM, HP, PwCC, and Qlik.

“Aaron is an expert in business growth, with notable achievements working with large South Korean corporations across financial and retail sectors. We’re extremely excited to have him onboard to drive continued success in the market,” said Jesper Essendrop, CEO of Queue-it.

In addition to a congratulatory speech from Svend Olling, the Danish Ambassador to The Republic of Korea, KyungJoon Lee, Country Manager of Akamai Korea, also delivered a celebration speech, marking another milestone in the global partnership of Akamai Technologies and Queue-it. "We sincerely congratulate Queue-it on the launch of its Korean branch, and we look forward to bringing even more value to customers through Akamai’s collaboration with Queue-it," Lee concluded his speech.
