Discover the latest features and product updates to ensure you’re making the most of Queue-it. This quarter you received access to SSO, additional processing power in APAC, streamlined double queue controls, and more.

Log in once with SSO for GO

The GO Queue-it Platform now supports your existing identity provider to unlock the benefits of single sign-on (SSO). Choose from integration options with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) or OpenID Connect (OIDC)—compatible with providers like Entra ID and Okta.

SSO simplifies access management and enhances security for organizations, especially those with strict compliance requirements. By linking user access to your account directory, it eliminates the risks of shared accounts, weak passwords, and delays in off-boarding users. Simply put, SSO integration makes your administration easier while providing your team with a smoother login experience.

You can find more documentation on how to configure SSO in our Support hub or learn more on our Trust Center.

Data center expansion in APAC

Queue-it has strengthened their presence in South Korea with a new data center in Seoul, powered by AWS’s local infrastructure. Customers in the region will see a reduction in latency by 90%, improved performance, and reliability.

In addition to faster performance, the Seoul-based data center builds trust by delivering a new option for processing and storing your Queue-it data. Queue-it upholds the highest standards of privacy and data protection enabling you to choose where your data resides, with options including data centers in the European Union, the United States, Brazil, Japan, and now South Korea.

Fun fact, since opening the South Korea office in April 2024, Queue-it has partnered with two of the country’s top ten largest companies–including KB Securities– reinforcing our expertise at enhancing tailored support to South Korean businesses in managing peak online demand.

Report revamp for scheduled waiting rooms

With scheduled waiting rooms accounting for 90% of summary reports generated, we decided to revamp the scheduled waiting room report to match the updated look and functionality of the invite-only report format. The updated design improves usability, creates a unified and intuitive experience, making it easier for you to navigate and analyze your reports.

For customers with Traffic Insights & Reporting - Premium, you can access the new Summary Report directly from the waiting room Monitor. Create the report in just one click, and share a link with key stakeholders to keep them informed, even if they don’t have a GO Queue-it Platform account themselves.

This new summary report for scheduled waiting rooms gives you a clear visual overview of key performance metrics. You can quickly analyze and share metrics like average wait time, inflow and outflow from the waiting room, and traffic by location and device. Similar to the invite-only summary, you can view how many visitors moved through each stage of your sale with the Queue Session Funnel.

No need to double queue again

The new Double Queue Exemption feature makes it easier to configure and manage multiple waiting rooms running simultaneously on the same domain. This update is particularly useful for customers hosting invite-only or a special landing page waiting rooms alongside general-access waiting rooms or running simultaneous sales, such as concert tickets or product drops.

Double queue exemption diagram

As shown in the diagram, Visitor B queued in one waiting room, such as a special sale page, can now be exempt from being queued again in a general-access room, such as one protecting the payment gateway for general shoppers (e.g., Visitor A), eliminating double waiting experiences. Technically this functionality was possible before, but the setup process was a bit complex. Now the new update introduces Queue Actions, Cancel Actions, and improved UI configurations enabling efficient management and simplifying these scenarios.

For customers using Connectors v4.2+ (Akamai, CloudFront, Cloudflare, Tencent, JavaScript (server), Java) or higher, Double Queue Exemption streamlines interactions by eliminating unnecessary queuing while enabling smoother operations. This feature helps you manage multiple waiting rooms efficiently and fairly, even during high-demand events.
