Redefining Access & Fairness for the Agentic Web with Queue-it, DNP & Meeco
Joint proof of concept between Queue-it, DNP, and Meeco shows how humans and AI agents can compete for access under the same principles of fairness, trust, and user authorization.
COPENHAGEN, Denmark and TOKYO, Japan, July 24, 2026 — Queue-it, Dai Nippon Printing (DNP), and Meeco have jointly developed a proof of concept that demonstrates a new approach to managing agentic traffic during high-demand online events, enabling legitimate AI agent participation without creating advantages over human participants.
Online traffic has always been unpredictable. But the rise of automated traffic over the past decade, and agentic traffic over the past two years, has heightened both the complexity and the unpredictability of online traffic:
- 53% of all web traffic now comes from bots
- Agentic AI traffic grew 7,581% year-over-year in 2025
- $3–5 trillion projected agentic ecommerce market by 2030
As AI agents increasingly act on behalf of users across commerce, ticketing, and online services, organizations face a new challenge: how to ensure fair access when both humans and agents compete for digital capacity and limited inventory.
The solution is based on a simple principle: fairness should not depend on whether traffic originates from a human or an AI agent. Instead, it should be based on verified user intent, trusted authorization, and equal treatment.

To demonstrate the concept, the companies created a hype-event scenario in which both humans and AI agents seek access to the same limited resource. A user asks an AI agent to find a specific product. Once the agent completes its discovery phase, the user confirms the intended product. The user then authenticates a digital credential granting the agent a verified identity and a mandate to act on their behalf. With that authorization in place, the agent joins the queue on the user's behalf, under the same fairness conditions as every human participant, and executes the complete purchase through to shipping confirmation.

The collaboration brings together Queue-it's expertise in traffic orchestration and online fairness in scenarios of high demand or limited inventory, Meeco's capabilities in digital wallets, and DNP's expertise in decentralized identity management for AI agents.
As AI agents become active participants in digital commerce, the companies believe the industry must move beyond traditional human-versus-bot models and adopt frameworks that distinguish trusted, authorized participation from abusive automation.
