Queue-it’s CCO and Co-founder, Camilla Ley Valentin, is a finalist for the Women4Tech’s Industry Leadership Award at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The award recognizes and celebrates individuals eager to promote initiatives that drive gender diversity and gender equality in the tech industry.

Camilla made it to the finals along with two other female leaders within technology, on the basis of their contributions to bringing their technology companies to new successful heights and their enriching initiatives within both local and international tech communities. Camilla is the only nominated woman from Scandinavia and the only nominee from a start-up.

This nomination stems from her continual engagement within the tech environment over the past 20 years. In previous years, she has also won the female entrepreneur of the year award for Queue-it’s radical and successful idea and has been featured as one of the fifty most inspiring European women in technology.

Camilla’s focus has not only been on growing Queue-it, but also on other contributions within the Danish and European tech community. One example is Women in Tech, the organization she co-founded together with other passionate female entrepreneurs. The primary aim of Women in Tech is to build relations among female founders and entrepreneurial minds in the tech community, supported by initiatives such as mentorship programs and networking events with a focus on inspiring diversity.

”I am honored to be selected as a finalist, especially in a field of such inspiring and influential international female leaders in the technology industry“, says Camilla Ley Valentin, CCO, Queue-it.

This year, 108,000 people are attending Mobile World Congress over the four days, with 25% of all participants being women. The winners will be presented at the Women4Tech summit on the 1st of March.

If you would like to meet Camilla and discuss diversity in technology or leadership, you can meet her at the Queue-it booth in the Danish pavilion or contact her for an appointment on ley@queue-it.com.
